Sci-gasm Podcast: A Beer with Physicist Lawrence Krauss

Noted everything Lawrence Krauss shares an ale with the Sci-gasm lads this week to opine on the mysteries of the universe. And Star Trek.

Yale. Harvard. Sci-gasm. Lawrence M. Krauss needs no introduction, but we can’t believe he’s sharing a jar with Wade and Byrne, so we’re going to milk it. The only physicist to have received awards from all three major American physics societies and one of the few to be regaled for their genius while they’re still alive, Krauss is a scientist/author/atheist who makes you realize how little you actually know about the universe. So, feast on the salubrious mind (and voice) of the theoretical physicist and bezzie-bestie of Richard Dawkins as he waxes lyrical about science education in the modern world and the inflationary theory of the universe with a slight shift into Star Trek. Plus alcohol, plus fandom. (Also, unable to confirm that either of them tried to pick Krauss up. I would.)

The great man himself said, “The lack of understanding of something is not the evidence of God, it’s evidence of a lack of understanding.”

So get understandment, stupid.

The Sci-gasm podcast promotes skepticism, science, and critical thinking, all through the ancient art of dick jokes. Whether it’s climate change or vaccines, or from GMOs to black holes, there’s nothing they’re not willing to discuss.

The Big Smoke will proudly be giving a platform to these two (Science-God, help us), but if you need a sci-gasm in the meantime, find them on Facebook or Soundcloud.
