Oftentimes, hilarity ensues (or just offensive arguments). As always, SPOILERS AHEAD.
The Room [official trailer]
In preparation for James Franco’s new biopic The Disaster Artist Joe and Ethan take a look at the original The Room. Ethan thinks Tommy Wiseau has essentially ruined potential careers these actors could have had and he can’t get into the movie based on the the real-world aftermath. Joe disagrees, believing Wiseau has made every actor as famous as possible by including them in one of the most successful modern-day cult movies around. Unpaid Intern Jeff moderates.
The Disaster Artist [official trailer]
Unpaid Intern Jeff and Ethan take a look at The Disaster Artist, the movie that will likely take James Franco and Seth Rogen to the Oscars. Unpaid Intern Jeff argues that the main focus of the movie is Tommy Wiseau, and since he is such a despicable person the audience can’t in good conscious root for him, so the movie ultimately leads to nowhere. Ethan counters that this movie is about friendship and following your dreams, embodying the power to inspire on and off screen. Joe moderates and showcases his amazing Australian accent. He’s very good at accents.
